Whenever I am lucky enough to visit the city I have to stop into Anthropologie and snap some shots. Their displays are always inspiring and so damn whimsical, that I feel like I’ve been transported to Wonderland the moment I walk through the door. These in particular are from the Anthropologie on State Street in Chicago (with the exception of the last being from UO). I thought I had lost them when my hard drive crashed, but they were resurrected and I couldn't be happier. I think I’ll start collecting an assortment of glasses for my fictitious home, there’s something about mismatching glass wear that steals my heart.

Take Me Away- Cynthia Rowley Resort 2012

I was right in the middle of packing for my weekend camping trip, when the Cynthia Rowley Resort 2012 Collection Stop Animation Film via Stylecaster.com landed in my inbox. The timing was impeccable, as I was feeling very uninspired by my lackluster camping trip to bring list. The film was the perfect pick me up, and left me lusting after exotic coast lines, mango margaritas, floppy straw hats oh and a giant dinosaur painting. I can only imagine myself in that yellow hi-low hem maxi skirt walking, no scratch that I'd be gliding like some sort of beach goddess, down the coast line. The maxi skirt is by far my favorite piece, but those platform mary janes are completely stealing my heart. This is so strange for me, but I actually love that visor too! And I am not the visor girl at all, but I want to sport that baby while playing a wicked game of tennis with some good looking European man. Le Petit Petit has the most whimsical feminine feel to it and I am positively in love with them. I'm totally feeling on the California meets Paris girl vibe they are radiating. I don't know who this girl is who frolics in fields, eats fresh jam for breakfast, and tells you your fortune all while wearing a crystal bullet necklace and breaking hearts, but damn I want to be her! Oh C'est le Vie. I just have to get my hands on a few of those t-shirts, particuarly the Romance and Heartbreaker tees.

Rejuvenate

Rejuvenation has been my moto now for the last couple of months, and so far it's going much better than anticipated. I think I've liked rejuvenating my shoe collection the most. The Rachel Antonoff x Bass Wendybird loafers are my new favorite pair of flats. This season is really all about the classics for me. I want to stock my wardrobe full of fun updated classics, that never go out of style.

Over the last two weeks, I have been painfully sifting through all my belongings in an attempt to edit my wardrobe to items I actually love to wear. I had so many things in my closet, that I couldn't possibly hang one more item of clothing. Truthfully, some of it was from high school and more embarrassing yet, middle school. I've found that to "spring clean" one must make a royal mess first. My room is in complete shambles, but somehow I feel very refreshed. I can't wait to share the end results.

California Photo Diary Part 3- The Final Chapter

I know it seems like I have been posting California pictures for forever now, but I just can't get enough of them. I had such a fantastic time; I wish I could go back. I simply cannot go without mentioning this great little burger joint in Manhattan Beach- Simmzy's. Oh their burgers were to die for and they had the most amazing on tap beer selection, as well as the best sangria I have ever tasted. If you're in Manhattan Beach you have to stop here (my mouth is watering just thinking about it). And when you've had your fill of burgers and sangria, head to the Manhattan Beach Creamery just down the road. I do have to fore warn you- the ice cream is homemade and crazy delicious. The choices are over whelming. One of everything please.

Aren't you just dying for this Matthew Williamson x Macy's collection to drop? For some reason, there hasn't really been that much hype about this collaboration and I'm not really sure why, because it's brilliant. I'm positively in love with the tiered maxi, the yellow one shoulder and well I'm a sucker for anything leopard print. This collection has a wonderful 70's vibe too it, which I can't seem to get enough of right now. These are just a few shots from the lookbook, but the entire collection an be previewed here. I'm Going Going Back Back

Right now I am enroute to California! I don't know how I managed to contain myself this long, because I am about as giddy as a four year old on Christmas morning. The boy and I are going to a friend's wedding, but I managed to turn it into a mini vacation. This will be my second trip to California and we are planning on visiting places neither of us has been. I am most excited for our drive from LAX to Dana Point, because we will be taking the insanely gorgeous Highway 1 and stopping at the beaches along the way. I have all intentions of becoming a full blown tourist.

Two things in life make me divinely happy - shoes and cupcakes. Gosh, it feels like a lifetime ago since I lasted posted! I truthfully didn't even know where to pick back up because so much has happened and I have been a very very bad blogger. On the flipside, I have been a very good student :) 4.0 this semester! Whoop! Bambi is workin' it and workin' it hard for Style Stalker's new Desert Fox collection. These shots are fantastic and the dresses are delicious. Just when I thought I wanted to go straight up girly, these shots land in my mailbox and remind me that there is nothing quite like leather, lace, motorcycles and the desert heat. The first shot features the Acacia dress, which is by far my favorite dress in the collection, it shows skin in all the right places and is exactly what I've been craving. Sadly it appears to be sold out already, but a good selection is still available on the site, so scoop em' up while you can. Cross country road trip anyone?

Fa la la la LANVIN x H&M

For all my 23 years of life, I have never seen a better way to kick off the holidays. EVER. I'm thoroughly convinced that the Lanvin x H and M collaboration is God's way of saying Merry Christmas boys and girls now go through a party and make sure you wear something fabulous. Every piece of this collection is oozing joie de vivre, and is unmistakably Lanvin. Sadly, the nearest H and M is three (yes you heard me THREE) hours away. So by the time I make it to an H and M, this collection will be long gone and banished to eBay mark up heaven. So darlings if you have the chance to snag any of these wildly fantastic pieces pat yourself on the back because I guarantee it won't be an easy feat. All That Glitters Is Gap

The Gap Holiday 2010 collection is pretty brilliant, or at least I think so. I mean don't those images just make you want to put on something sparkly and sip champagne while you hang Christmas stockings? I looked at these images and actually wanted it to snow! And for the record I am not a fan of snow at all, for a number of very scientific reasons. The sequin zip jacket simply has to be mine as I am quite certain I cannot and should not be forced to live without it. That jacket is bliss, pure undying heavenly bliss. I'm also pretty obsessed with the lace trim skirt and sequin purse sported by fashion power house Susie (you look darling dear). Oh and I can't forget the silver scarf, sherpa sweater or poncho sweater all of which are equally delicious. Ok ok maybe you've noticed by now, I actually almost 100% agree with the Gap's so called "Most Wanted List" (pictured below) which is rather rare because their last "Most Wanted List" that Lucky helped create was an epic fail.

Speak Now

Since the title of Taylor Swift's new album is "Speak Now", I figured I would head the advice and dish. I don't think I've ever disclosed my undying love for Taylor Swift on here before. I quite literally mean that I am a Taylor Swift super fan (ha ha - no seriously I am). If you count yourself in my closest circle of friends and are reading this, you already know this and are most likely sick of listening to me talk about her. BUT most of my readers I have never actually had the pleasure of meeting so I can ramble on for quite awhile before your sick of hearing me talk about her (or at least that's what I'm going to tell myself).

This album was released October 25, 2010 (old news I know), but being the super freak that I am, I had to go to Wal-Mart at 12 a.m. and be the first person in my little town to hold it in my hands (which of course I was). Actually, I'm certain the Wal-Mart associate thought I was crazed. When I arrived at the music section it was no where to be found, but I knew better than this (hint hint I've done this before). I stalked down an associate who tried to convince me it wasn't out yet, but she very quickly realized I was not leaving without it and made the call to another associate. A tall lanky boy walked out with a box full of her cds and I couldn't help myself, a huge "YES" escaped me and verified to the woman that I was actually insane.

I stayed up until 2 a.m. listening to that cd and it hasn't left my cd player since. I truly believe it is her best work yet. Taylor Swift is quite literally fearless in this album, she sings about all the things she wishes she would have said and that most of us are too afraid to say in everyday life (or at least I happen to be). I full well know that every time I started to date a cute guy, someone I really liked, I had that moment where I imagined this very elaborate future (MINE). Of course I would never dream of saying to him, "my God I just saw our wedding in my head, it was great. Oh and P.S. we are going to have ten adorable super model babies". Or how about when you just meet someone, for the very first time, and you simply can't get them out of your head and it makes you so giddy you dance around in your room (ENCHANTED). Then there's that guy, the one you let go, and at the time you were so sure of your decision, but now that he's gone you can't stop thinking about what you lost (BACK TO DECEMBER). Of course telling him you were wrong would require swallowing your pride and let's say you actually decided to come clean, well he could always slam the door in your face. Wouldn't that be a bundle of joy?

What I'm getting at is that Speak Now is very relatable to women of all ages, I could go on and on, but I'll spare you. In fact if you’re still reading this I am legitimately impressed. Her music makes me undeniably happy and at times sad, but the good kind of sad. Yesterday when I found out her album sales had surpassed the million mark I did a little dance and sent messages to my best friends (super freak). So if you haven't gone out and made yourself one of those million people, I advise you to RUN not walk to the store and pick up Speak Now. I already own two copies. Target has a special addition which I was unwilling to live without.

Don't Slack Check Your Rack

Most of my darling readers don't know this, but I am actually a Nursing major. I pen this blog as a creative endeavor and I am not pursing any sort of career in fashion (although it is very near and dear to my heart). October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and my inner nurse cannot resist stressing the importance of Breast Cancer screening, early detection and treatment. I am a true beliver in beautiful bras making your day better. When I have a saucy little bra on, it just puts a little smirk on my face for the rest of my day. So when your getting ready in the morning pick out something extra special and let it be a reminder to check your girls on a regular basis. On a little side note, I was really surprised with all the Breast Cancer Awareness "gear" out on the market, that very few have actually designed a BRA to support awareness! There are a few sports bras out there, but nothing I would be interested in wearing on a regular basis.

Apple Of My Eye

As I have stated many times before, I absolutely love fall! Not just for the fashion, but for the food and of course the weather. About this time of year, I find myself craving apple and pumpkin everything. I have been known to eat an entire pumpkin pie (for which I make no apologies and feel absolutely no shame) and I am a firm believer that a glass of apple cider a day keeps the doctor away. I don't know if everyone has access to honey crisp apples, but they are ridiculously delicious so do yourself a favor and track some down. Be forewarned that once you try a honey crisp - YOU WILL NEVER GO BACK. If your not a believer in the pumpkin spice latte I feel so very sorry for you, because it's a little taste of heaven.

The first time I laid eyes on a pair of Luxury Jones custom boots I am certain a piece of my soul died just a little. Niki Dimitras is the creative genius behind Luxury Jones and she is personally responsible for breaking my heart and most likely yours too, unless of course you have positively no personal style. Each boot is hand made and one-of-a-kind and as you can see they don't necessarily match each other. I can honestly say I never thought I'd be lusting after mismatching footwear, but I am. I could bore you with the details of my love affair with each of these boots, but I'll let them speak for themselves.

Fall 2010 Obsessions: Part 3

What isn't there to love here? Ok, good point some of the price tags (or lack there of) are not the most loveable, but I do not know a single woman who is not lusting after those Louis Vuitton pumps! This is one of my favorite trends right now. I'm completely ready to toss my mini skirts aside in favor of some tea length skirts. There is something incredibly sexy and mysterious about the new and updated 50's look that's very right now. I'm a bit bored with all the studs, leather, lace blah blah blah and I plan on infusing my wardrobe with longer lengths, pleated chiffon, pearls and yes a pair of lovely leather gloves. Rachel Antonoff x Bass

Since, I have never been able to make it to New York for Fall Fashion Week I always rely on my favorite bloggers to report back with their findings. This year's fall presentations of Spring/Summer 2011 were fantastic, but the one thing I just couldn't get out my head was the Rachel Antonoff x Bass shoe collection! It's exactly what I've been craving in more ways than one. I've had a bit of an obsession with loafers lately (see here) and have been in hot pursuit of the perfect pair. I did find a suitable pair at Target, but these heart loafers (pictured above) are everything I have been dreaming of. Zara Woman Fall 2010 Lookbook

PERFECTION.

Zara's fall 2010 lookbook is EXACTLY what I want my fall wardrobe to look like - almost to a T. Big slouchy knits, full length skirts, tailored trousers, chic blazers, camel coloured everything and oh yes hot red pants. Honestly, I haven't been able to take my mind off those red pants. They are fantastic and I absolutely must get my hands on a pair! The footwear is pretty great too - loafers (told ya so), kitten heeled pumps, oxfords and granny boots. It's odd for me to feel so attracted to flats because I've always thought the higher the heel the better, but this season I'm craving nothing but flats! On a side note, the model for this lookbook is positively stunning! I love her doe-eyed look and she is effortlessly beautiful.

There is nothing more exhilarating when getting dressed than mixing patterns. For most of my life mixing patterns has been sort of forbidden. Little day trip to Chicago to get the boy some new wheels and, it was the most fun I've had in a long time. Chicago is definitely one of my favorite places. No matter how brief the trip I always manage to get this incredible high - sort of like I'm bursting at the seams with the energy from the city. I ate deep dish pizza for the first time and it was incredible! Sauce on top of the pizza is so so so much better than on the bottom. If you're ever in Chicago Giordano's Pizza is a must.

If anyone had asked me what my favorite season was prior to the age of 22, I would have said summer. It was sort of a default answer to which I put little thought into. When I actually thought about which time of the year I was happiest, I realized it was fall. Fall is so great for many reasons, first and foremost being the fashion. Secondly, the weather is outstanding. One word comes to the forefront of my mind - CRISP. Truth be told, I much prefer sweaters to bikinis and blustery days to humidty. Loafers are back! If this isn't an indication that history repeats itself, I don't know what is. Of course the loafers this season are updated slightly from the school girl loafers we all think of immediately upon hearing the word LOAFER. The Miu Miu loafers on the left are positively chic and make me swoon like a school girl fallen in love with her hot locker buddy in the 8th grade. But let's face it $440.00 for a loafer? Not happening. Yes, it will transcend time and if I ever have a child she might want them for her vintage shoe collection. However, I don't have a child and those Target loafers are a mere $24.99 and a worthy opponent. The Miu Mius are divine, but they'll break my bank account just like my hot locker buddy broke my heart.

Love 21's Fall/Winter 2010 Lookbook

Fall just keeps getting better every year. Forever 21's Love 21 line is really chalking it up this season. When Love 21 made its debut I liked it quite a bit, then I went to Chicago and fell in love with it, and now its a full blown obsession. I laid eyes on this lookbook and started to drool just a little. The army greens, luscious browns and azul blues make for an amazing colour palette. The trend this season is definitely minimalism- keep it fresh, simple and of course chic. Who knew sweatpants could look so good?!

It never ceases to amaze me how giddy I get for fall when the fall lookbooks start rolling in. I'm a total summer girl, but right now I want fall to come so badly so I can break out my big heeled boots. The boots this season are AMAZING! I probably say that every season, but I really mean it (cross my heart). I'm ready to sell all my heels and stock my closet full of boots right now.

I know its been a long time since I posted regularly. Some of my lovely readers have e-mailed me asking where I went and when I'll be back :) so, here is the answer; I'm still here! I just tranferred to a new college and I'm trying to get use to the much shorter semesters and heavier work loads. I am absolutely in love with my new college, but the transition from a 15 week semester to a 10 week semster is killing me at the moment. Dolce Vita x Target

Apparently, Target did a collaboration with Dolce Vita for the grand opening of their East Harlem store and decided to keep it under the ropes. I was completely surprised when I saw this the other day, because there wasn't a whole lotta press release for this collaboration. The shoes aren't suppose to hit Target stores nationwide until August 22, but some stores already have the line out (check out The Budget Babe). If you can't wait for the collection to hit your Target, you can order them online now. The oxfords and ballet flats are $29.99 and both boots are $34.99. A steal compared to the lines normal pricing. I'm not sure how much I actually like this line, if there was any sort of build up to this collaboration, I would have been disappointed. Since it basically came out of the blue, I'm neither disappointed nor totally geeked. I like the studded oxfords and the buckle boots, but I think I can live without them.

I love listening to Lady Antebellum's American Honey song over and over again, because it reminds me so much of my own childhood. I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania that was literally a map dot, and I'm fairly certain I hated every moment of it at the time. Looking back I wouldn't have it any other way. I love revisiting old memories and reminding myself of the girl I use to be and sometimes, I'd love nothing more than to get back to her somehow. Nothing is sweeter than summertime and american honey.

I've Got a Sick Obsession, I'm Seein It In My Dreams

I know I am not the only one who obsesses over the J.Crew catalog! Truth be told, I got it in the mail a few days ago, and it has been sitting on my nightstand ever since because I can't help but flip through it everynight while I'm winding down. As much as I love recieving it in the mail, its not all love, take the sequin pumps above, how can you not fall deeply in love with them? They are gorgeous and so girly, yet chic at the same time. Then you glance down at the price, printed in the smallest possible print ever, and take note that they are $350 and suddenly your not in love anymore. I told myself a long time ago, that when I finally made it, I would shop for my closet staples at J.Crew, because they transcend time and let's face it, they never disappoint. Even though I can't afford much out of the catalog now, its styled so wonderfully, that I can't help but draw major inspiration from it when getting dressed in the morning. Receiving the Anthropologie catalog in the mail never fails to make me giddy, and I never tire of looking through them again and again. I always find myself completely enamored with their duvets, mainly the uber ruffled ones that scream I'm a princess, but one that prefers a skim milk latte and a croissant over hot chocolate and a bowl of lucky charms. I've been meaning to update my bedroom for quite some time now, and I always find myself dreaming of these duvets, the only problem is, I can't quite wrap my mind around buying a near $300 duvet, especially when the comforter itself cost the same. When I graduate college and make more than $2.75 an hour waitressing, this might make more sense, but for now I'll dream about it and consider Target's much cheaper less ruffled option.

Shake Ya Tail Feathers

Lately, I've had an obsession with Cynthia Rowley, and can you really blame me? This skirt is fabulous in more than one way. Instead of tulle on a tutu, Cynthia opted for feathers and to make it even better the feathers are this insanely gorgeous pastel print that reminds me of a sunset over the ocean, right before the sun sinks into the sea, the sky turns indescribably pink with swirls of purple and blue. Somehow she managed to capture that moment and put into what I consider a work of wearable art and I'm so in love.

For me, most of my addictions start off with a shoe and this particular shoe made me a little giddy, and sparked a serious must-have-now-lust-list so I can hit the beach. I was in hot pursuit of something beach worthy that could also translate into everyday wear (i.e. not my Reef flip-flops which, should only be worn to the beach or in a public shower, though I do shamefully admit that I have worn them outside both of the previous circumstances) when I found these wedges, and they stole my heart. I'm not usually a big fan of gingham print, okay I've never been a fan of gingham print, in fact I positively despise it, unless of course you enjoy looking like a down home country picnic right out of a Southern Living editorial, which I do not. Needless to say, Cynthia Rowley worked some serious magic into these wedges, because they are gingham print only better, sort of like gingham prints older and more sophisticated sexy sister. Thus, my addiction to the Cynthia Rowley x Roxy line is born. I have to get my hands on those wedges and that fantastic shark tooth necklace or my summer will not be complete, and I may have to write a country song about the hole the size of Texas they left on my heart.

Take That Love You Made and Stick Into Some Someone Else's Heart

This past weekend the boy and I went to our friend's wedding and had so much fun! The highlight of the evening was definitely the first dance, don't let the first thirty seconds fool you, it gets good real good. Of course I left the camera at the hotel so, I didn't get the pictures I was hoping for, but I wore a Plenty by Tracy Reese dress from Anthropologie and it was positively fabulous, check it out here, its perfect for wedding season and can be dressed up or down easily. If you take the plunge and purchase it, you may want to size up as it was running a little small.

Forever 21's Love 21

Its been a while since Forever 21 debuted their Love 21 line that features a more modern contemporary fit, so this isn't new news, but I finally picked up some of this line while I was in Chicago and its sheer perfection. I am 5'10" and most of Forever 21's skirts and dresses are a far cry from an appropriate length, but I can say that this line is spot on for all the ladies who don't want the world to see their 'britney' when in any position besides upright. I do think the styling is a little more conservative and not quite as trendy, but I personally like buying pieces I know will last more than one season, even if they only cost twenty bucks. The only complaint I have, WHY ISN'T THIS IN EVERY FOREVER 21 STORE?! AND it drives me insane when Forever 21 puts up these fabulous headers and then you can't find the featured clothes anywhere on the site! Seriously WHY TEASE ME LIKE THAT &*^%&$#)(!#@ That sequin trimmed jacket is fabulous for summer and I feel like I can't possibly go on without it, but its nowhere to be found so, I suppose I'll carry on, for now anyways.

I Just Can't Get You Out Of My Head

Alice + Olivia meets Keds and I'm in complete utter soul consuming love. I know, I know it's a sneaker, personally I'm more of a high-heel girl, but every once in a while I spot a sneaker that makes my heart flutter just a little. I've had my eye on them for a while now, but in the last week or so, I haven't been able to get those army green sequined Keds out of my head. They are perfection for summer, when you just want to run out the door and go for hours. I did Chicago in heels for a solid 7 hours and my feet still cry when they see those heels, these would have saved my feet from torture, and they are just as fabulous. I just have one complaint, $88.00 for a pair of Keds? Come on. What makes it worse; Alice + Olivia designs for Payless and you can score a rockin' pair of heels for under $40.

I spotted this fabulous 3.1 Phillip Lim Beaded Flapper Mini Skirt awhile ago and I had minor heart palpitations, but the price tag is what really leaves you in cardiac arrest. I really hate it when you find something you feel like you just can't live without, only to realize that yes, you will live without it unless you sell your kidney on the black market. Keep your kidneys dolls because the skirt from eShakti is fabulous too and doesn't send you into a sticker shock induced coma. Plus, eShakti has sizes 0 to 26W so you don't need to be a rail to fit into their clothing.

As everyone already knows, Sex and the City 2 officially released today at 12:01 a.m. and in honor of my undying all encompassing love of SATC I thought a shoe post would be appropriate. I have watched every episode of SATC, more than once and while I love all of them, my favorite is the one where Carrie walks by a shoe display and sees a fabulous pair of Louboutins and has the "Hello Lover" moment. She buys them for her last "BIG date" before he moves to Napa Valley. The shoes are magical, and that moment sums up how I feel every time I see a great pair of shoes. I've been lusting after these Pierre Hardy x Gap wedges for quite a while and they have cropped up all over the blogosphere and while they really are not that expensive ($110) I have not had the extra cash laying around to throw at them especially after my Chicago trip. BOO. So until I can afford them, I'll be standing at that display window stroking the glass in complete awe whispering hello lover.

DIY Shredded Tee a la Allegra

We all remember when Jak & Jil posted Kate Lanphear in Allegra, the shredded tee was amazing, the price tag, ehhh not so much and thus a long chain of DIY shredded tees were born see here here and here. I decided to devote this Tuesday to shredding and I feel so relieved to have finally completed one of my many ongoing projects. This is a ridiculously easy project, and I can see this easily becoming one of my favorite tops to wear this summer. I used an American Apparel T-Shirt dress because I wanted it to be pretty long. Start by cutting off the hem, and then use a seam ripper to pull away the threads, be careful not to break the threads at the beginning of the projects, as it will only prolong your pain. After you have several threads free, shredding becomes a breeze. Be forewarned, this project takes a lot of time, this took me close to 12 hours to complete, mine is a little bit more 'holey' because I don't really have patience, but I honestly love it like that! Of course I was passing the time with a little Sex and the City so it wasn't so bad, I can hardly wait for the movie to make its debut and I will be standing in line with all the other crazies when it premieres.

It's a Cruel, Cruel Summer

Truth be told, I live in a beach town, and while I often dream of living in the city, nothing beats a five minute drive to the beach and fresh morning air. In high school, I lived and breathed Roxy's clothing line; I would actually wear boots to school in the winter only to change into flip flops once I got to school. I've been to Chicago a number of times, and of course I have a long list of things I like to do and see when I get there, number one on the list -- Garret's popcorn (seriously to die for popcorn). But, I am absolutely positive there is an even longer list of things I haven't done/seen because I just plain don't know they exist. For example, I have never actually eaten a piece of the infamous Chicago deep dish, or had a Chicago dog, never been to Navy Pier, and possibly the most ridiculous of all...I have never seen the bean! This is mostly my fault, as I have always preferred to spend an obscene amount of time and energy on Michigan Avenue, but can you really blame me? So on this trip, I am attempting to cram as much as I can into two days, but I may need some help :)

Where do I get the best deep dish?

I wasn't quite sure Target could get any better, but then as I was oozing over the April issue of Lucky, I saw the first pair of Cynthia Vincent for Target wedges, fell in love and realized Target may never stop one upping itself. I am a huge fan of Cynthia's Luella wedges as seen here and here, so I was squealing with delight when I found out she had paired up with Target. I like the collection quite a bit, of course I don't think it compares with her normal line of shoes, but you can definitely see the resemblance. The only complaint I have, WHY DIDN'T YOU USE REAL LEATHER!?#$*&;%^&;** If the collection used real leather I would have been a big ole sucker for it, but alas it didn't and while it is a good idea, this small little detail keeps it from being completely fabulous. So to Target, we know you are capable of using leather, as some of your previous shoes have been made of leather, and I would be more than willing to pay $50.00+ for those gladiator wedges if they were made of leather. Don't get me wrong, I'm still buying them regardless, but my heart will always wish they were real leather. The collection drops April 18th dolls, be there or be shoeless because it's going to be gone gone gone.

EDIT: My local Target got some of the shoes in early.** IMPORTANT SIZING INFORMATION** if your planning on buying the wedges, size up half a size i.e. if your normally an 8 1/2 buy a 9. The flats seem to run true to size.

Of course it's nowhere near as fabulous as you Brenda, but hey a girl can dream and until dreams become reality I'll take the knight in tin foil. After all tin foil is just as shiny, isn't it?

I've been in hot pursuit of the perfect Fifi Lapin tee for a few months now, and I finally found one on Forever 21's site. Fifi Lapin is after all thee world's most stylish bunny, but the Luella SS08 look she sports for this tee is one of my absolute favorites and it just embodies spring time.

I have never been the girl who is always on time, though I wish I was, and according to Derek Blasberg in Elle's April issue, a lady is always on time, stating "A lady knows the only reason to be extremely late involves death-or at least, lots of blood. If no ER is involved, she's on time." Well, brand me with a tramp stamp and deem me unsophisticated, because this lady is almost always late. I don't think it has anything to do with being trampy or unsophisticated, I just always have something to do or something that needs to be done and before I know it, time is up! Blasberg's new book Classy: Exceptional Advice for the Extremely Modern Lady is due to hit shelves April 6, 2010 and I just might pick up a copy. Afterall, I don't want to join the panty-flashing train wreck club along side Lindsay Lohan and Hedi Montag.

So, I suppose if I want to be a 'lady' I'll need a watch, and since I'm taking advice from a man on how to be a lady, I should most likely borrow a man's style. Michael Kors remains the heavy weight champion of the 'borrowed from a boy' chronograph watch, at least in my book. Someday you shall be mine, until then I'll be seeing you in my dreams and running perpetually late. To the white rabbit - I feel your pain.

In case you have been living in a box and/or were on a romantic vacation in a remote location with no internet connection, the H&M Garden Collection makes its debut in stores tomorrow March 25th; if you don't fit either of the two previous descriptions then you already know this. This will be H&M's first collection made entirely from environmentally adapted materials, think organic cotton, organic linens and recycled polyester. I would really love to know how you recycle polyester, because if I could turn this hideous lime green snap button shirt I wore in the sixth grade into that kimono dress, well that would be heaven. I have to admit that I am completely enamored by the entire collection, it has such a romantic girly feel to it and I can't seem to get enough nudes/blushes or floral prints crammed into my closet this season. AND there are no words to describe that red rosette jacket, it’s the most expensive piece in the collection at $59.95 and it just screams my name. We all remember the Valentino Rosette Tote well, the jacket is its older sexed up sister and I love it.

If H&M wasn't a three hour drive, I'd be there tomorrow pinning over that red jacket and kimono dress, alas it is three hours away and I do have a psychology exam tomorrow, so driving is out of the question. This girl will have to cross her fingers and pray it’s still there in May when I make a trip to Chicago. Ah the perks of living in no man's land. I'm sure many of these pieces will be snapped up upon opening, so ladies if you’re in relatively close proximity to an H&M do hurry your pretty little self over there tomorrow morning, after all it was Earth Day on the 22nd and recycling is good for the environment.

It has been a long long long time since I did an outfit post! Mostly due to the fact that my camera died here. I did manage to steal a friends camera for a few days to snap these shots, and I remembered how much I missed logging my outfits. These platforms just might be the love of my life, they are sky high and I'm about 6'4" when I wear them, afterall the higher the heel the closer to God, AND CELESTIAL THEY ARE. In addition to being completely obsessed with platforms, I am dying to get my hands on anything lace. This skirt makes me feel so girly, and makes me absentmindedly put a little sashay in my walk.

I hope everyone had time to check out the lines Liberty of London put out recently with MAC and Target because they are absolutely fabulous. I have recently become quite obsessed with finding the perfect shades of lipstick and the Liberty of London x MAC Ever Hip lipstick (seen in photos above) is one of thee most gorgeous hues I have seen, I loved it so much I bought two tubes! The Target collaboration was insane, I stalked the website at 4 a.m. on Sunday and resisted buying because I wanted to see it in person at my local Target, and my patience paid off. Of course, my Target had to be the slackers that didn't have the line out when they opened, I walked in and my mouth hit the floor because all the Liberty of London racks were empty! I knew it couldn't be true, because I live in no man's land and most people around here have no clue what any of Target's collaborations are (Target employees included). Thank heaven for sweet customer service ladies, all of the clothing was in the back on racks so she told me she would just wheel the racks out to the dressing rooms for me. I felt like a little kid in a candy shop, as I stood by the dressing rooms, they wheeled out these massive racks of clothing and I had to resist jumping up and down. It was floral perfection and I was on cloud nine. I left with way more than I intended to, and let me just say the throw pillows complete me. If anyone wants to come over for tea I now have thee most beautiful floral tea pot, the only prerequisites are; you must have some form of tulle on your body and speak with an English accent.

You never really forget your first love.

I can still remember the first time I bought myself a pair of designer sunglasses; they were the most beautiful pair of Marc by Marc Jacobs plastic aviators. I think that was back in 2007 when eLuxury was still up and running. I ogled them for months before I finally took the plunge, and I say plunge because at that point in time I was a sophomore in college and essentially flat broke. Ahh they were amazing.

Well, someone stole them and they are gone.

I actually cried for a good hour when I realized they were missing. Not so much because someone took a pair of $90 sunglasses, but because they had sentimental value. Of course whoever stole them couldn't just take one pair they had to take my Raybans too which, also had sentimental value. Back when I had a boyfriend, I convinced him to upgrade himself to a pair of Prada glasses so he would ooze sophistication instead of the plastic shameful Oakley's most men insist on sporting. Ok, I guess if your the Terminator you can wear Oakley's or if you wanted to blend in among an alien population. Either way the entire time we were in Sunglasses Hut I eye balled this pair of Ray Ban aviators and when we were checking out, he surprised me and bought me the aviators too. Like a true pair of dorks, we did the model strut out of the mall in our new shades and proceeded to drive around like we were the next James Bond couple.

It was a good day, and those sunglasses were a reminder of that day. Of course whoever took them didn't know or care that they had sentimental value. Alas, they are both gone and I started to think about buying a new pair when I realized that these Marc by Marc Jacobs MMJ 096/S were the perfect pair to start a new chapter with. The second time the boy and I made a trip to the sunglasses store, I convinced him he needed some Marc in his life and while he was trying on countless pairs, I saw these and feel in love. Naturally, he hated them, but something about them stole my heart. I didn't buy them because at the time, I didn't need them, and no he didn't surprise me and buy these for me too.

I never went back for them, but I think it's high time I put Marc back into my life! So, when I get my taxes back, I might just wander into Solstice to pick up an old friend.

In the mean time...

I MISS YOU MARC COME BACK TO ME!

Liberty Of London x Target

Somehow, the Liberty of London Target collaboration had slipped under my radar. Maybe it's because of all the hoopla associated with the Jean Paul Gaultier collaboration. Either way, I'm sitting on the edge of my seat in anticipation. This luxury iconic British label is making a huge leap across the pond to the masses via Target and I love it. The collection is heavily infused with whimsy floral prints, ok who am I kidding, its all floral and I AM OBSESSED. Floral tea pot? Check. Floral cruiser? Check. Floral umbrella, clutch, rain boots, piggy bank? Check check check CHECK!

Move over Alice, Wonderland is mine.

This maxi dress is tantalizing and it shall be mine.

Mark you calendars ladies and gentlemen because the collection drops March 14th in-stores and online. Some of the pieces will only be available online like the cruiser at $199.00 and the teapot for a cool $12.99.

If you have been meaning to infuse your apartment with some life, this is the perfect opportunity! I have an obsession with coffee mugs, and I intend to add those lovelies to my collection and if I wasn't on an online shopping ban, that cruiser bike would be mine too but alas, Lent won't be over by March 14th and I have a sneaking suspicion that this collection will sell out, but that really isn't news to any of us use to stalking the Target website in anticipation for these collections.
